Intercontinental Bank has launched a National essay competition for Nigerian university Undergraduates to commemorate the nations 50th Anniversary in October 2010.
According to the essay competition, tagged "50 Stars @ 50" was initiated to not only expand the scope of the bank's commitment to educational development, but also its way of demonstrating its support of human capital development in the country.
TOPIC: "NIGERIA: A NATION AT 50; THE PAST, THE PRESENT"
ELIGIBILITY: Competition is opened to ALL UNDERGRADUATES of Nigerian Universities.
PRIZES:
1st PRIZE:
N500,000 Educational Grant plus N500,000 cash prize (plus a Brand New Laptop)
2nd PRIZE:
N300,000 Educational Grant plus N300,000 cash prize (plus a Brand New Laptop)
3rd PRIZE:
N200,000 Educational Grant plus N200,000 cash prize (plus a Brand New Laptop)
4th-50th: A Brand New Laptop Each.
HOW TO ENTER:
Download an entry form and criteria from www.intercontinentalbankplc.com OR pick up a form from any Intercontinental Bank branch Nationwide.
Completed entries are to be returned to the Branches from where they will be moved to the Head Office through the 10 Regional offices.
At the end of the competition, the overall 50 winners will be recognized as the "50th Anniversary Stars" and will be awarded the above-stated prizes.
