About Scholarship
In continuation of Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (EEPNL) efforts to provide opportunities for developing careers in the petroleum industry, Mobil Producing Nigeria offer Scholarships to outstanding Nigerian graduates who are currently pursuing postgraduate studies (Masters Degree) in the above disciplines in Nigeria Universities.

By what Criteria is Selection Made?
1.      Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second class upper division in any of the above listed disciplines.
2.      Must have admission for 2012/2013 for the required course of study in a Nigeria university (MSc. or M.Eng. only)
Who is qualified to apply?
Nigerian graduates who are currently pursuing Masters studies in Nigerian Universities
Employees of ExxonMobil subsidiary companies in Nigeria and their dependents are not eligible for this scholarship.

2012 Nigerian Agip Oil Company Ltd Undergraduate Scholarship


NAOC SCHOLARSHIP FOR NIGERIA UNDERGRADUATES
The Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) Operator of the NNPC/NAOC/Phillips Joint Venture invites application from suitably qualified applicants for its 2011/2012 session tertiary scholarship scheme, effective; September 15, 2012 to October 6, 2012.
This is part of NAOC’s Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR)
Nigerian Agip Oil Company Undergraduate Scholarship Award Scheme 2012
The Undergraduate scholarship is to be awarded in the following categories:
1. CATEGORIES OF AWARDS
Host Communities Merit Award: For applicants strictly from NAOC host communities
National Merit Award: For applicants from non-host communities.
2. ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for consideration applicants MUST be:
Registered FULL TIME undergraduates in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions
Certified 100 level students at the time of application.
***NOTE: The following categories of students should NOT apply:
200 level students and above
Current beneficiaries of similar awards from other companies andagencies
** Dependants of employees of NAOC, AENR and NAE
Only indigenes of NAOC host communities in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo and Rivers states SHOULD apply for the Host Communities Merit Award.
Only candidates studying Engineering, Geology and Geosciences are eligible for the National Merit Award.
3. METHOD OF APPLICATION
To qualify for consideration applicants must complete their online application and verify their application details on or before 6th October 2012.
All applicants for Host Communities Merit Award MUST attach current (2012 –2013) Letters of Identification duly signed by:
* the current (2012) Chairman and Secretary of his/her CDC
* bona-fide traditional/paramountruler of the community; and,
* the current (2012) Local Government Chairman or the Secretary
4. APTITUDE TEST
An Aptitude Test for the applicants in both Categories of Award will be conducted at the following centers:
Port Harcourt, Omoku, Yenagoa, Asaba, Lagos, Owerri, Abuja
***NOTE: Candidates are to fully bear the cost of transportation to and from the Aptitude Test center.
5. SUBMISSION
Applications must not be made after the the deadline October 6th, 2012

List of 100 Successful Candidates of the 2012 PRESSID Scholarship

A  total of 100 successful candidates have been selected for the 2012 Presidential Scholarship Scheme for Innovation and Development (PRESSID) for postgraduate studies abroad.



These candidates are hereby invited to the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja on Monday 8th October 2012 at 9.00 a.m. for initial briefing.  They should come along with:
 their original certificates, NYSC discharge certificates, letters from two guarantors, their international passports, and letters of admission (if any).

Those who are yet to secure admission should immediately apply to any of the top 25 universities approved for the scheme and inform the NUC accordingly.

National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) scholarship 2012/2013


NITDA scholarship 2012-2013
The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) under the Federal Ministry of Communication Technology, with its mandate of transforming Nigeria into an IT driven economy for global competitiveness and the dire need to bridge the digital divide has in 2010 established a Scholarship Scheme for Masters (MSc) and Doctorate (PhD) Degrees in relevant areas of Information Technology (IT) obtainable in Nigerian or Foreign/ Overseas Universities.
NITDA SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME 2012/2013

Criteria:
The scholarship award is strictly based on merit and covers equally the six geo-political zones for PhD and the 36 States and FCT for M.sc.
Duration:
The Masters programme will run for one year while the Doctorate programme is expected to run for three years.
Eligibility:
PhD: All citizens of Nigeria with MSc in any Information Technology related field are eligible for sponsorship.
MSc. All citizens of Nigeria with First Class or Second Class (Upper) Honours Bachelor’s Degree, (B.Sc) in Information Technology related field.
Closing Date
The registration period is from now till 24th October, 2012
Method of Application
All eligible candidates that are interested should log on to: scholarship.nitda.gov.ng 
to register.
A comprehensive Aptitude Test will be conducted to determine successful candidates for the award. Only candidates who are found eligible will be invited

2012 MUSTE Scholarship for Nigerian Youths.


MUSTE 2012/2013 SESSION IS NOW OPEN TO RECEIVE APPLICATIONS!!!
The Mankind United To Support Total Education is a Scholarship arm of Youth Empowerment and ICT Foundation; it was registered with the corporate affairs commission in Abuja Nigeria on the 17th of November 2003. It is founded and funded by Mr. Jim Ovia in the year 1998, to provide financial aid to outstanding Nigeria youths.
 The awardees are given funding for undergraduate study for the duration of the undergraduate program. The award includes tuition and maintaince allowance. The scheme offers an average of 100 opportunities every year. The Financial records show that as at October 2010, Mr. Ovia has invested N98,220,000 in the program on one thousand, four hundred and thirty-nine beneficiaries.
 In establishing MUSTE, Mr. Ovia hoped to create a network of future leaders within Nigeria who can compete globally with their peers, bring new ideas, creativity and are committed to improving the lives and circumstances of people in their respective communities. Overtime it is expected that MUSTE beneficiaries will become leaders in helping to address challenges related to health, technology, and finance, all areas in which the foundation is deeply engaged.

Eligibility and Criteria

All Nigerian youth are eligible for the scholarship. In the first ten years of the program, 1439 youths from all cross Nigeria have been awarded scholarship. About one hundred awardees are selected each year from a pool of four hundred applicants. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of personal intellectual ability, leadership capability and a desire to use their knowledge to contribute to society throughout Nigeria by providing service to their community and applying their talent and knowledge to improve the lives of others.
