2015 NNPC/MPN Undergraduate Scholarship Awards
As part of support to educational development and human capacity building, Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN), operator of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)/MPN Joint Venture awards annual scholarships to qualified undergraduate students in Nigerian Universities. Applications for the 2015 NNPC/MPN Undergraduate National Scholarship is now open.

GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE


Awards will be made to qualified and suitable students who are currently admitted in Nigerian Universities irrespective of state of origin including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).  
REQUIREMENTS/ELIGIBILITY FOR 2015 NNPC/MPN SCHOLARSHIP IN NIGERIA
E-applications are invited from full-time undergraduates in their FIRST YEAR (100 LEVEL) or SECOND YEAR (200 LEVEL) of study in any of the under-listed courses in Nigerian Universities:

1. Petroleum Engineering
2. Chemical Engineering
3. Mechanical Engineering
4. Electrical/Electronics Engineering
5. Civil Engineering
6. Geology/Geophysics
7. Medicine (MBBS Only)
8. Agricultural Science (And related fields)
9. Computer Science  

Eligibility

a.     Candidates must be holders of the SSCE or its Equivalent with at least six subjects passed at a sitting
b.    Applicants must be registered full-time undergraduates in their 1st or 2nd year of study in any Nigerian University
c.     Students who are currently on similar scholarship awards from other oil and gas companies should not apply
d.    Dependants of employees of Mobil Producing Nigeria, Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited are not eligible for this scholarship.

Application closes midnight 1st December, 2015.

In line with our e-scholarship administration system, selected students will be invited for computer-administered qualifying tests in selected examination centers nationwide. Short-listed candidates for the qualifying test will be invited by email and SMS text messages. All applicants are therefore advised to ensure that GSM telephone numbers and personal email addresses are properly entered into the e-forms on the web site.

NNPC/Total E&P 2015/2016 Scholarship Scheme

Applications are currently ongoing for the NNPC / Total E&P 2015/2016 Scholarship Scheme and all interested 100 and 200 level students are invited to apply.
 
Annually, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria (TUCN): Total Exploration & Production Nigeria Limited (Total E&P Nig Ltd) and Total Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI), award scholarships to deserving Nigerian students in the tertiary institutions in the country.
The programme is aimed at promoting academic excellence and quality manpower development in the Country. This is one of the the many ways Total demonstrates its commitment to the educational development of Nigerian students. This is part of Total’s rich Corporate Social Responsibility.
This scholarship scheme has been successfully carried out over the years. The 2015/2016 is due and this web portal is dedicated to receiving applications from eligible Nigerian undergraduates.

Application Forms are available here and must be completed online. Applications will close on November 22, 2015. Selection tests will hold on 5th December 2015 at designated centers nationwide which will be communicated to shortlisted candidates only. Candidates will fully bear the cost transportation to test venue as no reimbursement shall be made.
Candidates are therefore advised to choose text center closest to them.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for consideration, the applicant MUST:
  1. Be a Registered FULL TIME undergraduate in a recognized Nigerian University
  2. Be a certified 100 or 200 level student at the time of application
  3. Show proof of SSCE or Equivalent Certificate.
  4. Show proof of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) score.
  5. Show proof of Admission letter from the University and Matriculation Number
  6. Show proof of A-level or Equivalent Certificate (for direct entry students)

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Students with less than 200 score in UTME need not apply
  • Students with less than 2.50 CGPA of 5-point scale, or equivalent
  • 300 level students and above need not apply
  • Current beneficiaries of similar awards from any other Company or Government Agency need not apply

How to Apply

1. Personal Information:

Enter your name, date of birth and permanent home address Upload your recent passport photograph.

2. Contact Information:

Enter your email and mobile phone information. Only use an active email and mobile phone number.

3. Origin:

Enter your state and local government of origin data. You are required to upload a certificate or proof of origin from your local government or state.

4. University Information: 

Select your university, course and year of study. You will be required to upload your JAMB/University admission letter.

5. Result Information:

Input your JAMB score or CPGA. You are required to upload your JAMB statement of result and university CPGA. For year two medical students, your JAMB score suffices.

6. Review Application:

Review your application ensure all fields have been correctly entered. Upload all the documents required:
  • Recent Passport Photograph
  • Certificate or Proof of Origin
  • Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (SSCE)
  • UTME result
  • JAMB/University Admission Letter
  • 1st Year Result showing CGPA

2015/2016 GUINNESS Graduate Skills Development Scholarship

 Guinness Nigeria is offering bright, ambitious graduates of Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Engineering a unique opportunity to train at the prestigious National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN).

Guinness Graduate Skills Development Scholarship 2015/2016

This scholarship will provide full tuition for Engineering graduates (from Guinness Nigeria’s host communities) to enroll for the 2015/2016 one year NAPTIN Graduate Skills Development Programme (NGSDP). This intensive programme equips graduates with the technical skills they need to build successful careers in the Nigerian Power Sector.
By offering this scholarship, Guinness Nigeria seeks to play a part in developing Nigeria’s power sector while fostering youth development in its host communities.
Graduates of Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Engineering from the following communities are therefore encouraged to apply:
  • Ogba, Ikeja Local Government Area, Lagos State
  • Oregbeni, Oregbeni lkpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Edo State
  • Egbeluowo, Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area, Abia State
  • Odeukwu, Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area, Abia State
Eligibility
  • Candidates must be University/Polytechnic Electrical/ Electronic or Mechanical Engineering graduates who have completed their National Youth Service Corps programme.
  • Applications are only open to graduates from the above communities

Candidates who qualify for this scholarship should visit NAPTIN portal: http://www.naptinportal.com.ng/ to submit an online application (Click on the "Sign Up as a Trainee" tab on the home page)
Upon receipt of submitted applications, NAPTIN will send details of the selection test to candidates. Candidates from the above communities who have already applied following NAPTIN’s earlier advert need not re-apply.

Selection Criteria
Shortlisted candidates for this scholarship will be required to write the NAPTIN selection test which holds on Saturday 14 November, 2015.

Lagos State.Time: 8.00am.
